63-year-old Paralyzed Veteran Robbed by 2 Thugs Outside Family Dollar

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two thugs who robbed a 63-year-old wheelchair bound veteran. Michael Perry was leaving Family Dollar on South Bellevue Sunday night when a young thug grabbed his bag and took off. The bag contained Perry’s cash, his id, and his cell phone. Perry attempted to pepper spray the thug but wasn’t fast enough. The thugs took off running with Perry’s personal belongings.

“These two young men were standing up there panhandling. The younger guy walked past and mumbled something. He got behind me, grabbed my bag, pulled the bag over my head and ran. I pulled out my pepper spray and tried to pepper spray them. I was angry. I wanted to go beat them up if I could catch them, but I know I couldn’t. I can’t really defend myself well. There’s no excuse for you on the streets to take advantage of handicap individuals.” – Michael Perry

Police pulled surveillance footage of the thugs and released this picture:
