Fox Host Defend The Donald’s Comments!

When news came out that President Trump described some countries as “Sh***les” the media erupted in a fury of cries of racism. And whether you agree with his sentiments or not, whether you think his comments were ill-advised, the fact remains that it is the way that many people do actually talk.

Fox host Jesse Watters on The Five defended the president’s remarks with an argument that many of us will likely be using. He said:

“This is how the forgotten men and women of America talk at the bar,” Watters told his co-hosts.

“If you’re at a bar, and you’re in Wisconsin, and you think they’re bringing in a bunch of Haiti people, or El Salvadorians, or people from Niger, this is how some people talk,” he said.

“Is it graceful? No,” he added. “Is it polite or delicate? Absolutely not. Is it a little offensive? Of course it is. But you know what? This doesn’t move the needle at all.”

“This is who Trump is… and if he offends some people, fine.”

And he’s not too far wrong. Let’s be honest. If the countries these folks come from were great, they wouldn’t be coming in the first place. The president in no way denigrated the actual people who are looking for a new, better life. He just pointed out that the countries were in a very bad state…And they are!! This is why there are so many folk desperate to stay in the country.

So if you want to be offended, fine. But don’t think that you have a moral high ground on this.  Why don’t we ask the folk who are risking life and limb to escape the countries the president described? The MSM won’t ask this question because they know the migrants would agree with the president.
