German Hero Who Stood up to Terrorists Faces Charges for Insulting Them

Germany has officially dived off the deep end of Political Correctness.   Thomas Salbey became famous after standing up to the Munich Gunman that killed 9 and injured 16.   Salbey yelled out his apartment window at the deranged 18-year-old in an attempt to distract him.   Salbey yelled “I am German” to try to get his attention.   Salbey didn’t have a gun, so this was all he could do to try to prevent more people from being slaughtered.   Salbey eventually tosses a beer bottle at the gunman.

Now Salbey could be charged with insulting the terrorist according to German police. Florian Weinzierl, spokesman from the Munich State Prosecutor’s office, confirmed the Munich resident is being investigated. He could be charged with “insults to the detriment of the dead.”  Apparently standing up to a terrorist who killed 9 children is a crime in Germany.

On July 22nd 2016, the Munich gunman Ali David Sonboly, 18, posed as a Middle Eastern schoolgirl to lure children to a Mcdonalds to kill them. He killed 9 people, ages 13 – 45, 7 of which were teenagers. 10 people were critically injured, 30 others sustained non life threatening injuries. Sonboly was a German-Iranian, his parents are Iranian asylum seekers.
