NFL Censors Veterans Ad – They Can’t Stand this Country!

A Superbowl ad put out by the veterans group, AMVETS, because it asked for people to respect the national anthem. In the ad, that cost them around $30,000, people are asked to #PleaseStand and features people (veterans) standing up for the anthem and saluting the flag. Yet the NFL made the decision to cut scenes from it and refused to provide an explanation.

The NFL has become a disgrace. They are happy to take money from veterans, but then edit out the point they are trying to make, this is not only fraudulent, it is an insult to people who have put their lives on the line for our safety and security.

A spokesman for AMVET sent a strong letter to teh NFL saying:

“Freedom of speech works both ways. We respect the rights of those who choose to protest, as these rights are precisely what our members have fought – and in many cases died – for,” Polk added in the letter. “But imposing corporate censorship to deny that same right to those veterans who have secured it for us all is reprehensible and totally beyond the pale.”

How much longer will the NFL survive if it keeps disrespecting our brave veterans and dead in favor of a social “justice” cause that is about nothing more than hatred.

The NFL has picked its side in this debate. We need to pick ours. Who will you support?
