During a military aircraft accident on the east coast of Australia, Saturday three American marines were missing and probably killed. The search has ceased Sunday morning, reports the US Army.  The US Army trained on the coast of Australia when an MV-22 Osprey, a crossing between a helicopter and a plane got missing. The Osprey with 26 people aboard hit the water. 23 crew members could be rescued.

With different vessels, emergency services and the army sought the three marines, but without success. The Australian government has announced Sunday to give all the help to the American Navy, in search of Saturday-missed MV-22 Osprey.

Earlier on Sunday morning, the US Army decided to stop the rescue operation. One suspects that the marines are no longer alive. Instead, they are now looking for their physical surplus; A company that can even take months. The families of the missing people were immediately informed of that decision, according to the leadership of the III Marine Expeditionary Force.

Australia sends a search ship to the place where the device crashed. A diving team will also assist the Americans in the search.

The cause of the accident with the Osprey is still unknown. The Australian weather agency described the weather conditions, wind speeds and the little at sea at the time of the accident as “favorable”. “The light northeast wind did not affect the water surface or the waves,” said a meteorologist.
